Disable Autorun di Windows XP Home Edition

Disable autorun untuk removeable disk merupakan salah satu cara pertama untuk mencegah masuknya virus melalui flash disc. Pada Windows Xp Home Edition kita tidak bisa menggunakan “gpedit.msc” untuk mendisable autorun seperti pada windows XP Profesional. untuk mematikan autorun removeable disk pada Windows XP Home Edition kita gunakan fasilitas regedit..

1. ketikkan “regedit” pada  Start menu >> Run kemudian Ok
2. HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies\Explorer
3. atau search aja tekan Ctrl+F pada keyboard search “NoDriveTypeAutoRun”
4. kemudian klik kanan pada “NoDriveTypeAutoRun” pilih Modify
5. rubah value data menjadi 4
6. restart komputer

coba masukkan flashdisk, harusnya udah ga ada autorun nya.
